“India is my country . All Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country,
and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy
of it. I shall give my parents, Teachers and all elders respect and treat everyone
with courtesy . To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion. In their well-being
and prosperity alone lies my happiness.”

- O God our Heavenly Father, bless us and keep us all through the day. Help us to
be diligent in our studies, cheerful when things go wrong, persevering when things
are difficult, kind to those in need, sympathetic to those who are sad. And at every
moment of this day, make us ever to remember that you, God, see us, and that in
you we live and move and have our being. So grant that we may do nothing, which would
bring shame to ourselves, grief to those who love us and sorrow to you. We ask this
for your love sake. Amen.
- O my God, help me today to count my blessing before I start on the day. I thank
you that I have an opportunity to come to school to learn and gain knowledge. I
thank you, that I have the health, strength and the will to do it. I thank you,
for my home and for those who are near and dear to me. I thank you for everything
in which I will find pleasure today and in all that I do and say. Amen.
O God of infinite Wisdom and the source of all knowledge, grant that we may remember
what we have learnt, we offer you our work and endeavor, Failures and success. Forgive
us our short coming and give us the courage to follow always the path of truth.
We ask this for your name sake. Amen.
O God, bless us and our food which we are about to receive from your bounty. Amen.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
Where there is injury—pardon
Where there is discord—union
Where there is doubt—faith
Where there is despair—hope
Where there is darkness—light
Where there is sadness—joy
O Divine Master Grant that I May not so much seek;
to be consoled—as to console,
to be understood—as to understand,
to be loved—as to love,
For it is in giving—that we receive
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
It is in dying, that we are born to eternal life.
St. Francis of Assisi
Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those
who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
