Balwadi begun in 1999 with 35 students at the time of Principal Sr Anne. The first
teacher was Mrs Shashi. She taught these children for five years and then left.
In 2005 the Principal was Sr Santina, and Mrs. Shanno Devi was Balwadi teacher,
She called the children belonging to slum area and the total children were 170.
In 2007, Principal Sr. Celsa brought new happiness for these poor children. She
provided them with many facilities such as school dress, Course, Bag, Shoes, lunch
etc. She helped their parents to send them food items such as pulses, sugar, tea,
fruits and eggs etc. Sr. Celsa helped the Balwadi children to get admission in 6th
class in government and semi-government Schools after passing out 5th class from
Balwadi. She gifted them cycles also to motivate them.
Sr. Celsa motivated them to take part in curricular activities and children participated
in many cultural activities.
