Science Quiz Competition was organized by Nirmala Convent School, Shivpuri, Bulandshahr,
The programme was started with a prayer to seek God’s blessings. Four teams from different schools participated in the quiz. The schools are Delhi Public School, Yamunapuram Bulandshahr, Lawrence Academy Gulaothi, R.S. Memorial Olympian Public School Shikarpur, Bulandshahr. Nirmala Convent School, Shivpuri Bulandshahr. Welcome of the teams was done by Ms. Sheetal Sirohi. Welcome speech was given by Lona Sharma of Class VIII. All the participants of various teams gave their introduction.

The competition had 5 rounds with different approaches-
Round –I, It was based on current affairs and general awareness. Questions were asked by Ms. Anupama
Gupta.
Round –II It was based on One Word Answer type Questions. It was conducted by Ms. Shalinni.
Round –III It was Multiple Choice Type Questions based on theme provided. It was conducted by Ms. Rehana
Round – IV – It was Visual round, conducted by Ms. Sheetal Sirohi and Ms. Shailja Vashishtha.
Round – V – Rapid Fire round conducted by Ms. Shailja Vashishtha.
Score board was maintained by Mr. Anupam Sharma.
Time Kepping was done by Ms. Babita Singh.
All the teams were active & full of enthusiasm, they tried their best to answer the questions asked by the Quiz Masters. Response of all teams was very good. Team spirit was found in participants. They applied their knowledge well according to questions asked from them. They followed all the instructions and rules given to them before the quiz.
Results were announced soon after the quiz. There was a very little difference in marks. All teams performed very well.

Rev.Sr. Daisy(Principal).
Science teachers – Ms. Anupama Gupta, Ms. Rehana Alam, Ms. Sheetal Sirohi, Ms. Shalinni & Ms. Shailja Vashishtha worked under the guidance of Rev.Sr. Daisy (Principal) for the success of the Science Quiz competition.
Programme was concluded with Vote of thanks by Hemanish of class – VIII followed by National Anthem.
