Student orientation programme class VII was conducted by the class teachers in the L.K.G hall in zero and first period topic of the orientation programme was “Power of a student”. Teacher started the topic by emphasising on positive attitude, self half time management. Student was motivated to’ Never Give Up’. They were encouraged to work hard to achieve their goals. Teacher guided the students regarding their behaviour towards parents and grandparent. Student was told that mood swings, aggressive behaviours, answering back to the parents all these may be because of adolescent changes. They were guided to learn to have control so as to achieve emotional stability Teacher discussed “Time Management”. She encouraged the students not to waste time in T.V watching, Whatsapp, Facebook. Instead of all these Teacher guided the students to be constructive. In the end all the three sections were divided into 6 groups and they were asked to platform a skit based on the topic “How to help a needy person”. Students performed very well. This topic was selected by all the three class teachers so as to encourage the student to donate generously for the poor, balwadi students.
