The school began in July 1962, with 40 students on roll. It was affiliated to the CBSE in 1973. Ever since, it has been securing, positions and merits in the board examination achieving wonderful results. Since then, the school has been given extension of affiliation. The last extension of affiliation was granted upto 2028.
