Nirmala Convent School

Nirmala Convent School, Bulandshahr, is owned by the Institute of Franciscan Clarist Missionaries of the Most Blessed Sacrament, a body registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860. The Institute runs English/ Vernacular medium schools, orphanages, dispensaries, home for the aged, working Girls’ s hostel, and other welfare centers in the various parts of the country , especially in the remotest hinterlands.

It was founded by Rev. Mother Benigna Gastaldon and Italian nun who has worked in India from 1928-94. She was rewarded the Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of The Italian solidarity by the Italian Government in 1974, for her service in India and the Florentine Lily by the Florence Province of Italy for her outstanding Humanitarian work and for her ideals of love and service for the emancipation of the poor especially the girl child.

Affiliation Status

The school began in July 1962, with 40 students on roll. It was affiliated to the CBSE in 1973. Ever since, it has been securing, positions and merits in the board examination achieving wonderful results. Since then, the school has been given extension of affiliation.

The last extension of affiliation was granted upto 2028.

Aims and Objectives

The Primary aim of Nirmala Convent School is to realize the Education Vision of the Institute by imparting integral formation (religious, moral, social, cultural and physical), based on principles of Christian faith, to the members of the Christian Community.

It also imparts an integral education (Spiritual, mental, moral, social, cultural and physical), to all other students admitted to this institution, irrespective of caste or race.
